While you can buy some in shops now, it's not always animal friendly (please, don't use glitter!!), and it's so easy to make some yourself instead. Whip some of this up and be sure to sprinkle it on the lawn before bedtime on Christmas Eve.

Monster Truck Messy play tray! Thanks to @our_litt Monster Truck Messy play tray! Thanks to @our_little_toyroom for the inspo, I needed a quick and easy set up for me to jump back into some sensory play!

Now our outdoor area is safe to play in again (fully fenced, but not quite finished), I am keen to get back into it. This Monster Truck tray ended up quite differently to how I expected, but I loved it nonetheless!

Mr 4 doesn't love to get messy, so when he started gravitating to the mud kitchen and washing the monster trucks I thought we were done. But, he turned it into a tray that suited him! He added the pot and spoon, grabbed the sandpit trucks and asked for more rubble to put in the truck! No matter how it turns out, it's all about embracing the journey 🙌

Le Bon Choix at Pacific Fair evokes a sense of Par Le Bon Choix at Pacific Fair evokes a sense of Parisian luxury, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't stop by for cake and coffee with the kids!

Welcoming everyone, from those dreaming of a European vacation to mums and bubs on the morning coffee run, @lebonchoixbakery serves up the most incredible cakes, sweet treats, sandwiches and coffees. Tucked into the back corner you'll find the cutest little kids corner with sensory board, colouring in and cartoons, allowing you to wait for your treats in peace while the kids are occupied!

This isn't the biggest place, and the kids corner is simple - but the combo of the most amazing sweet treats, great coffee and a kids corner make this a top choice for me!

SAVE THE DATE! One of my absolute favourite event SAVE THE DATE!
One of my absolute favourite events is returning! SeaFire 2022 will return with a BANG on Saturday 4 June 2022!

This is one of the most family friendly fireworks displays and is not to be missed! With displays at 7pm, 8pm and 8.45pm, no matter what the kids bedtime is you can make it! Even better, because it's out over the water, anywhere along the Surfers Paradise and surrounding beach shorelines makes for great viewing so you can escape the crowds if you wish.

South America and Africa, two of the world’s best pyrotechnics, will compete on the shores of Surfers Paradise Beach for the coveted title in the City’s very own international fireworks competition.

Event goers can expect to see Cavill Mall and the Foreshore of Surfers Paradise Beach come to life in a vibrant melting pot of entertainment including the ZimBoyz with their acrobatic comedic street show, local DJ’s, traditional Brazilian drummers, Capoeira displays and Samba dancers!

SeaFire is a FREE family friendly event that kicks off at 6pm.
Rainy days are usually few and far between on the Rainy days are usually few and far between on the Gold Coast, so when the rain does set in, we’re often scrambling for indoor activities to keep the kids occupied. One of the most common requests I get is for rainy day suggestions!! These pics are just a teeny tiny glimpse at what's on the list! You need to click the link in my bio & stories to see EVERYTHING on the list.

So proud to call these boys my sons ❤ they are m So proud to call these boys my sons ❤ they are my drive and motivation, my joy and my spirit. We laugh together, and cry together. They blow my mind daily with new skills, interests and quirks. They cause me more stress, anxiety and anguish than I've ever known. Being their Mother is everything to me ❤

We had a pretty low-key day today, after 3 epic months of celebrations, wedding, sickness, holidays, family gatherings and birthdays. Today was the last event for a while and I'm so grateful for that news. I'm absolutely exhausted. Mentally and physically I'm fatigued and I am looking forward to slowing down and getting back to basics. I've so much to catch up on over here and can't wait to start sharing more with you again!
Our little superhero turned 4!! The rain held out Our little superhero turned 4!!

The rain held out, Captain America made an appearance and the mini Avengers completed their challenge tasks! 4th birthday celebrations are complete 🦹‍♂️🙌

Party planning is one of my favourite things to do, but geesh, the on-the-day stress never disappears! But this little one told me the party was amazing, which made absolutely every second of it worth it 💙
Little Ninja Warriors will love this playground at Little Ninja Warriors will love this playground at The Heights Pimpama! Living up to it’s name, this playground is all about climbing high.

Centred around a tower structure, here you’ll find 2 slides that are steep and fast! I know many don’t like metal slides, but we visited around 11am on a mostly sunny day and I can say these were not hot, even in full sun. They were warm, but nothing more than plastic slides heat up.

The climbing dome really is a highlight of this park, I haven’t seen one this good before! There are so many ways for the kids to climb up and over, with a few platforms for resting upon too. If that’s not enough, there is also a set of monkey bars here – I haven’t seen these at a new park in ages!

Some bonus elements include the swing set, spinners and a rock climbing wall to access the central tower. You’ll also find a basketball court here, along with two picnic shelters, BBQs and a toilet block. See the full review at the link in my bio.
