Green Frog Hollow Cafe is a little oasis tucked off the main road just out of Logan Village, before you reach Yarrabilba. On arrival, you’re greeted by a little pond decorated with frog ornaments and water lillies, and as you walk over the little bridge into the cafe you get your first glimpse of what makes this place so much fun for the kids – water dragons!

Green Frog Hollow Cafe used to be a garden centre and cafe, but they’ve since changed up their offering and have expanded on their cafe experience, now providing breakfast and lunch 7 days a week, and dinner on Friday’s and Saturday’s. We visited for brunch and it’s the perfect place to visit if you’ve got kids who like to run around – while you relax they can follow the winding paths through the gardens, past water features and a mango tree, spotting hundreds of water dragons as they go. These creatures are literally everywhere, ranging in size from little baby lizards to fully grown adults who love nothing more than to laze on one of the many cafe lounges (be sure to look before you sit down!).

The menu has great variety and the cafe is always busy, but you are welcome to spread out across the property and grab a table wherever you like – perhaps in the air conditioned cafe itself, or a table hidden down a garden path under a gazebo, the choice is yours. We enjoyed our coffees, milkshakes and cake, but the ice cream cabinet is equally as tempting!

Music loving families will want to find themselves at Green Frog Hollow Cafe over the weekend. Dinner on Friday is served alongside live music, while Saturday nights are all about the karaoke (both are family friendly)! But for those looking for a great Sunday drive destination, the Barn is the place to be, where you can kick back with a cold beverage (fully licensed cafe) and enjoy some live music on the Vintage Truck stage among the lush gardens.

100% family friendly, this cafe is a great option for a relaxing bite to eat – even with those kiddos that don’t sit still!
