Mighty Mess Kids sensory play

Do you love the idea of messy play, but just can’t bring yourself to have to deal with the clean up at home? That’s where messy play sessions come in and boy are they popular! Have all the fun of messy play, without any of the work involved – that’s a win! Mighty Mess Kids are one such business offering sessions across the northern Gold Coast, so that children can safely and freely explore their world through touch, sight, smell, sound and taste.

Suitable for children aged 6 months to 4 years, all products used are entirely age appropriate and taste safe. Let the kids explore both wet and dry ingredients as they discover different textures and sensations, then pop them in a nice warm, bubbly bath at the end so you can leave feeling clean and mess free! My two boys visited during a Christmas themed event and had an absolute ball getting messy, exploring the trays and playing together!

Sensory play has so many benefits and promotes hand eye coordination, fine and gross motor skills, focus and concentration, problem solving, creativity, imagination and balance. Each week there are new themes and tray set ups, with each tray carefully planned and designed – the amount of effort that goes in to each of these trays is incredible, especially when you consider that the kids trash them in about 20 seconds flat! This year Mighty Mess Kids have also introduced a ‘Creative Corner’ especially for 3 and 4 year olds, so that babies and toddlers can safely play together.

Sessions are held at Helensvale and Upper Coomera and cost $25 for a single session (sibling discounts available), $115 for 5 sessions or $200 for 10 sessions. Mighty Mess Kids also offer large group booking discounts, birthday parties and childcare incursions!
