Discovery Park, Helensvale
Discovery Park at Helensvale was upgraded in early 2024, providing a new and safer playground experience. The playground was shifted away from busy Discovery Drive, further into the parklands behind the Tennis Club and is fully fenced. It caters for a wide range of ages, with a varying levels of climbing difficulty. There are two play towers with a bridge, a small ninja climbing structure, swing set and and a spinner.

Coombabah Lakelands Conservation area
The Coombabah Lakelands Conservation area protects 1200 hectares of wetlands and eucalypt forest, right in the middle of the northern Gold Coast suburbs. Visit in the late afternoon to see grassy open fields bathed in golden sunlight and hundreds of kangaroos grazing on the grass!

Doodlebugs Indoor Playcentre, Miami
Doodlebugs is the Gold Coast's oldest indoor play centre, and very popular with the locals. Smaller in size, it's easy to keep an eye on the kids no matter where they are, which means enjoying that coffee in peace or actually having a conversation with your friend! Play areas for the little ones, larger play areas with air shooters, a car track and a train are all part of the fun here.

Celadon Park, The Surrounds Helensvale
Celadon Park has to be by far one of my favourite 0-5 year old playgrounds across the Coast, due to the endless opportunities for imaginative play! The highlight of this park is definitely the bike track, incorporating traffic signs, a petrol station, fire station and small pump track. Don't forget the bikes or scooters on this visit!

Bim'bimba Park means Place of the Soldier Bird, and is located at the centre of Gainsborough Greens, Pimpama. This park truly is a destination in itself, and was awarded the 2020 Best Park and Playground Design for all of Queensland!
