    Pacific Airshow Gold Coast 2026 is coming!!

    Strap in Gold Coast. Pacific Airshow is soaring back in 2026 with tickets now on sale, for the first time ever prior to Christmas! The blockbuster event is locked in for 14, 15 and 16 August 2026. Ideal for a family day out, kids will love the Family Zone packed with yard games, chill out spaces and family-friendly activations. Young fans will also love the new NXTGN STEM LAB designed to spark curiosity in aviation. With the whole beach to move about on, pack the swimmers, a beach blanket and enjoy a day in the sun with plenty of entertainment for everyone.

    Lorikeet Park, SkyRidge Worongary

    Lorikeet Park is one of the largest community parks in the Gold Coast, featuring an incredible larger-than-life Lorikeet sculpture, spreading it's wings over the playground. Older children aren't forgotten, with an amazing climbing and adventure playground for them too!

    Dig It, Tamborine Mountain

    Dig It Tamborine Mountain is Queensland's first mini excavator park for kids big and small! Here, you will sit in the drivers seat of real excavator machinery and participate in construction-inspired activities. It's fully instructed fun for kids and their parents too! You don't need any experience, just a willingness to give it a go.

    Bill Thomson Park, Elanora

    Bill Thomson Park at Elanora is very much loved by locals! With a medieval theme, you'll find plenty of turrets and bridges connecting the playground together to create one large castle. The playground is set in the middle of the parklands, which also includes a lake, basketball court, picnic shelter and public toilets.

    Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens

    The Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens have something for everyone! Free to visit, you can smell, touch and taste plants in the Sensory Garden; discover butterfly friendly plants in the Butterfly Garden; check out the Bush Tucker gardens; grab a coffee in the cafe or let the kids play on the playground!

    Mulch Minion Trail 2025, Northern GC Canefields

    The Minions are in town! The Mulch Minions, that is. If you're unfamiliar, the northern Gold Coast cane fields host a popular Mulch Minion Trail each September to coincide with school holidays and the cane harvest. In 2025 the trail will run from Monday 29 September - Monday 6 October. These cute creations can be found on the Exit 38 Tourism coordinated trail that takes you through Yatala, Stapylton, Alberton, Jacobs Well and Norwell.
