Corymbia Park in Coomera (also commonly referred to as Genesis Park as it sits within the Genesis Estate) caters to both toddlers and older children with its wide variety of play pieces. Junior ninja warriors will love the large climbing frame and monkey bars, designed to test even the best of climbers. Upper Ormeau Park is a small playground in the rural suburb of Kingsholme. Set on a big grassy field by one of the smaller stretches of the Pimpama River, this is a nice little hideaway for kicking the ball, flying a kite or exploring the river banks.

Looking for a quiet picnic spot that will keep the kids entertained too?? The Sensory Gardens by Gold Coast Green Living at Country Paradise Parklands in Nerang has been put together by a group of volunteers and is now an all-abilities sensory garden that is open from early til late (basically dawn to dusk) and free for everyone to visit. Pack a picnic, bring a blanket and settle in for a nice catch up with friends while the kids explore.

Kuring Gai Park at Robina is a quiet little park tucked in alongside a beautiful big lake. If you're lucky, you might even spot a pelican or swan swimming by! Right beside it is a fully fenced playground, with lots of shade and activities such as musical instruments, moving games and climbing structures.
