Circuit Park at Ormeau Hills is a small neighbourhood park with a playground, scooter track, BBQ facilities and a dog off leash enclosure. The highlight of the park is definitely the big slide fitting 4 kids across!

Upper Ormeau Park is a small playground in the rural suburb of Kingsholme. Set on a big grassy field by one of the smaller stretches of the Pimpama River, this is a nice little hideaway for kicking the ball, flying a kite or exploring the river banks.

Tick. That's a lot of ticks which is why the playground at Norfolk West Reserve in Ormeau, while old, is definitely a favourite among locals.

Ahoy there! Boat fans will love Mangrove Jack Park, with it's paddle steamer inspired play structure accompanied by a little motor boat with water skis!! This is a smaller version of the ever popular Oxenford Lake park, and has a 1km long footpath around the lake!

The Sensory Gardens by Gold Coast Green Living at Country Paradise Parklands in Nerang has been put together by a group of volunteers and is now an all-abilities sensory garden that is open from early til late (basically dawn to dusk) and free for everyone to visit. Pack a picnic, bring a blanket and settle in for a nice catch up with friends while the kids explore.
