This quick and simple Easter activity can be used as inspiration all year round – just change up the animal and the food!!
All you need is a large box, an egg carton and your animal food. I’ve had these carrots in my Easter decorations for years, but you could make some out of rolled orange paper, or you could use toilet rolls – get creative with what you have around the house!
Once created, let your toddler free to feed the bunny. We’re in to counting at the moment, so we used the opportunity to practice number matching. I called out a number and my toddler had to pick the correct carrot. Then, after the bunny had eaten all the carrots, we had to match the numbers to put the carrots back in the carton again.
