The Wallaby Hotel at Mudgeeraba is one of the oldest classic pubs on the Gold Coast! It’s also got family friendly dining down pat, with one of the best kids play areas around.
This has got to be one of my favourite spots we’ve been to for a casual pub lunch. The relaxed setting, great food, and children’s playground meant we enjoyed a lovely lunch and the kids were happy – win!
Opt for a table out on the deck, and you’ll have close and easy access to the fully fenced and covered playground – guaranteed to make your lunch or dinner that bit easier! The playground is great for children of all ages, with the interactive panels and freestanding train perfect for toddlers, and the tunnels and large slides for those a bit older.
Kids are catered for with a fantastic selection of kids meals for just $7, adding on ice cream for $2 or a juice/soft drink for $3. You’ll get a little pencil case with crayons to keep them busy colouring in the menu too!
