Summerland Farm is a beautiful macadamia and avocado farm set high in Alstonville in the Ballina-Byron hinterland. Taste the region’s delicious produce, meet the farm animals and enjoy a day in the country on a real Australian working farm.
Entry is just $5/child and $3/adult, which includes all-day access to the Adventure Park at Summerland Farm, perfect for families, little explorers and anyone looking to enjoy the great outdoors in a beautiful farm setting! The Adventure Park includes:
- The water park – cool off and splash around in the fun, interactive water play zone, perfect for sunny days and little adventurers

The fun doesn’t stop there however! Add on a range of animal experiences like cow feeding, mini farmyard snuggles or alpaca encounters, starting at just $5. These experiences are definitely the highlight of any visit to Summerland Farm. We did both the Paddock Encounter ($5pp) and the Animal Encounter ($5pp).
Be sure to also browse the beautiful emporium of North Coast deliciousness (including Summerland Farm’s own delectable range!), and grab a bite to eat from the delicious seasonal menu showcasing fresh ingredients sourced from the Ballina-Byron food bowl, and fresh from the farm.
