Towri Sheep Cheese Farm, Allenview

Towri Sheep Cheese Farm is a hidden gem, located in the Scenic Rim at Allenview, only a one-hour drive from the northern Gold Coast. Here you’ll find a boutique sheep dairy and an onsite Cheese Room, filled with a range of award-winning hand crafted sheep milk cheeses.

On the first Saturday of each month, Towri Sheep Cheese Farm open the doors for the public to come through and learn more about the process of making sheep cheese. There are interactive milking demonstrations, farmer talks, sheep feeding, a coffee van and cafe, as well as live music and a beautiful atmosphere in the garden perfect for a relaxing family picnic.

Afterwards, you can visit the Towri Shop and pick up your own delectable treats to create your own cheese platters! A popular choice is the EWE + 3 cheese, the only cheese that combines 3 milks: sheep, cow (Tommerups Jersey Cows), camel (Summer Land Camels) and Goats Milk (Naughty Little Kids), all dairies located in the Scenic Rim!

We spent a bit over an hour here, joining in on the milking demonstration, feeding the sheep and having morning tea in the gardens. It’s a perfect starting point for further adventures in the Scenic Rim!
