The Ormeau Community Library is one of our favourite libraries on the Gold Coast to visit with children. Originally known as Book Box, this library was dedicated to our 0-5 year olds and jam packed with engaging opportunities for our little ones. After a few changes, it is now known as the Ormeau Community Library, which encompasses the old Book Box and also includes a range of books for children aged 5-12, teenagers and adults.

Ormeau Community Centre Playground, Ormeau
The Ormeau Community Centre Playground is a great playground for kids aged 2 years and up. A small playground, yet hugely popular for being fully fenced, shade covered, toilets onsite and having equipment for varying ages and abilities. You're bound to find other families here too, so it's a great opportunity for kids to play!

Fingal Head Coastal Walk & Lighthouse
The coastal walk along Fingal Head where the lighthouse sits, has to be one of my favourite! With minimal crowds, picture perfect views and plenty of spots to sit and relax, this is a great family friendly coastal walk. Points of attraction here include the Fingal Head Lighthouse, built in 1872, and Australia's very own Giants Causeway.
