Pratten Park, Broadbeach

Pratten Park Playground sits at the southern end of Pratten Park and is the smaller of the two playgrounds here. Unfenced, the highlight of this playground is the pedal cars that wrap around the entire playground!

Set in a huge grassy field just back from the beach, this playground is popular with those heading for a swim or stopping for a break during their beach front walk or bike ride. There are lots of shady trees surrounding it, and while the equipment is older in style, kids still love to play here.

There are two play structures at Pratten Park Playground, as well as an older style flying fox, small ship and swing set. These play elements are particularly focused on climbing opportunities and are better suited for primary school aged children. Of course, the pedal cars are the reason most come to this playground, and you’ll usually see some poor parent pushing kids around the circuit for those who can’t reach the pedals!

There are plenty of picnic tables here for those who want to bring a picnic or grab takeaway to eat from the nearby cafes. Public toilets are also located nearby.
