Friday 27 March, from 10am: RQ’s Tavern Family Day Out
Hop on down with your little ones to RQ’s at Robina for some Easter themed messy play! Join Gumtree Kids from 10am for a morning of egg-citing fun! Designed for curious minds ages 5 and up, your little bunnies can enjoy sensory fun full of bright colours and textures. Plus, enjoy a snack menu and coffee to get you fueled while your little ones explore! Bookings essential.
Sunday 29 March, 9.30am: Easter Party at The Messy Place
We’re bringing the Easter magic with a morning full of fun for your little bunnies. Easter egg hunt, cupcake decorating, Easter Messy Play and maybe even a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny! Suitable for ages 1-6yrs, tickets are $22.50 each. Bookings essential.
Saturday 4 April, 10am – 2pm: Easter at Summerland Farm
Enjoy the festive farm atmosphere with plenty happening across the park throughout the day. Little (and big!) adventurers can build their perfect day, with a range of activities available to book and add on to their visit – including face painting, Immersive Farm Tours, Animal Encounters, and decorating your own Easter basket. A magical meet & greet with the Easter Bunny will be available throughout the day. Our much-loved Easter Egg Hunt will run in three sessions at 10am, 11:30am, and 1pm. During the hunt, children will follow clues hidden around the farm, collecting macadamias along the way to exchange for delicious chocolates at the end of their adventure. The Easter Egg Hunt is $5 per person. Book your FREE event ticket, and then select your Easter Egg Hunt add-on.
Sunday 5 April, 10am – 2pm: 2026 Easter Egg Hunt at Sanctuary Cove
Join us for the Gold Coast’s ultimate Easter Eggstravaganza at The Marine Village, Sanctuary Cove! This FREE, family-friendly event is packed with fun activities and festive entertainment for everyone to enjoy. Free train rides, pony rides, petting zoo, face painting and Kilkie Cruises. Get ready for an Easter egg hunt like no other! Follow the clues and complete a series of fun tasks as you make your way around the precinct. Once you’ve ticked them all off, head back to the registration table to claim your chocolate surprise. Don’t miss out on this egg-citing celebration—register now and let the hunt begin!
Sunday 5 April, 9.30am: The Farm at Byron Bay Easter Egg Hunt 2026
This Easter Sunday, bring the kids along for a good old-fashioned Easter Egg Hunt at The Farm! Free to participate, there’ll be plenty of eggs to find, and all ages are welcome to join in the fun. Alongside the egg hunt, we’re running a ‘Tidy-Up Challenge’ – a prize awaits the keenest little clean-up crew who collects the most rubbish at the end! Stick around afterwards for food, music, and a day of relaxed Easter fun around the farm. Activities running throughout the day include Horse rides, Animal feeding, Fire-cooked food from Three Blue Ducks, Kids crafts and creative activities, and Live music around the farm. Sunday 5 April, from 5pm: Southport Sharks Easter Sunday
Easter Sunday turns up the excitement with a free Kids Disco from 5pm (including a visit from the Easter Bunny), face painting, balloon artistry, lolly bar, unlimited soft serve and a seafood dinner buffet packed with fresh Queensland prawns, mussels, baked ham, pizzas and wok favourites. Thursday 9 April, 2pm: Easter Cupcake Decorating Workshop at Madisons Cafe, Oasis Broadbeach
Hop into the Easter spirit! Head to Madison’s Cafe Broadbeach for an Easter Cupcake Decorating Workshop! Each child gets 2 Easter cupcakes to decorate, a drink, all tools, sprinkles and Easter inspired icing. $20 per child. Book now by emailing madisonsbroadbeach@gmail.com.
School holiday activities
Sunday 29 March, 10am – 2pm: Rotary Club of Ormeau-Pimpama Teddy Bears Picnic
This year the Rotary Club of Ormeau-Pimpama is continuing with the annual Teddy Bears Picnic. The event will be held at Ormeau Bulldogs AFL Club and will raise funds for this years nominated children’s charity the Variety – The Children’s Charity Queensland. Come along and support this wonderful cause and have a day of fun with the whole family. This is a community fundraising event with activities for children, food stalls, sausage sizzle, teddy bears parade and judging. We are soo excited to being everyone together to raise funds for such a wonderful cause.
