Daisy Cookies

I love simple recipes to make with the kids – bonus points if they look cute too! These Daisy Cookies are the best combination: only a few ingredients that you’ll definitely have on hand, and easy enough to make that the kids will love joining in.

Ingredients:

  • 225g plain flour
  • 150g butter
  • 75g icing sugar
  • smarties

Instructions:

Combine the flour, butter and sugar in a bowl. Using your hands, mix the ingredients together until a dough forms. Roll the dough into small balls. Using 5 balls at a time, place them on a lined baking tray in the shape of a flower and using your finger, gently push down. Add a smartie to each flower. Place the cookies in the fridge for at least an hour. Preheat your oven to 190 degrees celsius and bake straight from the fridge for 10 minutes.
