Finding a kid friendly cafe is definitely a highlight of parenthood! I’m not talking about a cafe with a kids corner, I’m talking about somewhere that you can comfortably spend an entire lunch chatting away with friends without the kids complaining that they’re bored! Stones Throw Cafe at Currumbin is that place!
After closing up shop at Burleigh due to the light rail construction, their location at Currumbin is a family friendly dream. While the shop front itself is only small, it is out the back in the “backyard” that this place really shines. With a huge deck and a beautiful grassy and shady yard, dining in is an absolute dream. As you make your way down the winding path to find a table, you’ll spot the cute blue and white caravan perched at the very back. Sitting atop a sandpit, this is where you’ll find the kiddos!
The perfect location for breakfast, brunch or lunch, I can see this being super popular with families and mums groups! The menu is perfect for enjoying out in the sunshine, and includes a children’s menu (featuring a picnic platter among others!!) which is perfect for little tummies.
