    Norfolk West Reserve, Ormeau

    Sometimes, the older parks win the day over the new parks, especially when they're a unicorn park with ALL THE FACILITIES!! Toilets? Tick. Fenced playground? Tick. Shade covered? Tick. Bike path? Tick. That's a lot of ticks which is why the playground at Norfolk West Reserve in Ormeau, while old, is definitely a favourite among locals.

    Mangrove Jack Park, Helensvale

    Ahoy there! Boat fans will love Mangrove Jack Park, with it's paddle steamer inspired play structure accompanied by a little motor boat with water skis!! This is a smaller version of the ever popular Oxenford Lake park, and has a 1km long footpath around the lake!

    Codrington Park, Pacific Pines

    Aimed at older kids (although catering for toddlers too), this playground is designed for climbing, with nets, bridges, posts and walls that will keep the ninja warriors occupied. Don't miss the flying fox too! Little ones can explore the pirate ship, bridges and sand play fort.

    Lions Park, Helensvale

    Tucked alongside one of the main streets of Helensvale, many drive straight past Lions Park at Helensvale without realising what this gem has to offer! Families with kids ranging in ages will love this spot, as there is enough equipment to occupy the youngest through to the eldest of children. Got a ninja warrior on hand? This will also be the park for you, with it's parkour inspired equipment keeping even the most skilled climber occupied for hours!

    Calypso Bay, Jacobs Well

    Calypso Bay is a nautical themed playground in tribute to its position by the water and just down the street from the Calypso Bay Marina. Here you'll find a pirate ship brimming with bridges, wheels, slides and nets - be careful, you might even be asked to walk the plank! Underneath the pirate ship the imaginative play space is further extended, with a small shop counter set up, tunnel frames and other interactive game panels. You'll also find swings, spinners and a small motor boat in this huge playground.

    Tugun Park, Tugun

    This castle themed playground at Tugun Park, Tugun is capturing the imagination of knights and princesses young and old! This playground is packed with imaginative and role play pieces, including a Double Medieval Tower, a Drawbridge, a Knight and his Horse! There are battlements, banners, arrow slits, arches, shields and bridges, all sure to inspire fun and games.

    Kuring Gai Park, Robina

    Do you have a little runner, who is easily bored at playgrounds? This fully fenced playground at Robina was recently upgraded and has so many activities to do, the kids will be kept busy for ages! Kuring Gai Park at Robina is a quiet little park tucked in alongside a beautiful big lake. If you're lucky, you might even spot a pelican or swan swimming by! Right beside it is a fully fenced playground, with lots of shade and activities such as musical instruments, moving games and climbing structures.
