William Duckett White Park at Gaven is home to a beautiful shady park and plenty of open green space. Kids will love the large net hammock, rope bridges and two slides, and there is also a seesaw and swing set.

Ron Short Park, Southport
Located opposite the Alicia Street shops, grab some takeaway lunch or a coffee and head on over to the fully fenced playground at Ron Short Park. Bring a picnic blanket and set up under the trees, or make use of the picnic shelter by the playground. This one even has public toilets!

Pratten Park, Broadbeach
Pratten Park Playground sits at the southern end of Pratten Park and is the smaller of the two playgrounds here. Unfenced, the highlight of this playground is the pedal cars that wrap around the entire playground!

Sindone Family Park, Varsity Lakes
The Sindone Family Park is such a fabulous neighbourhood park! With a tall tower for climbing four levels high, a mega slide and plenty of imaginative play options, we loved visiting this one. A see-saw and swing set can also be found in the shade covered playground, and the shop front is a hit with the younger kids.

Kurrawa All Abilities Playground is possibly the most popular fully-fenced playground on the Gold Coast! It's not hard to see why, spread over a huge area, full of big shady trees and packed with plenty of play elements, it is every kids delight!

Lawnhill Drive Park at Nerang sits near the Nerang Forest and is a starting point for some great trail walks. But for those not keen on the bushwalking, there is a fun little playground there too! Bill Thomson Park at Elanora is very much loved by locals! With a medieval theme, you'll find plenty of turrets and bridges connecting the playground together to create one large castle. The playground is set in the middle of the parklands, which also includes a lake, basketball court, picnic shelter and public toilets.
